Mitchell joined Batch Mewing Lawyers as a Lawyer in 2017 having experience in both front end and back end construction matters.
Prior to coming on board, Mitchell was part of the Construction team at a prominent mid-tier law firm where he worked on various matters concerning principals, contractors and subcontractors. Mitchell has been involved in drafting a range of construction contracts, undertaken high level contract reviews and prepared contract analysis documents against which clients can review the terms provided by other parties to determine their risk profile.
Mitchell has also been involved in a range of disputes arising under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004 (Qld), the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (Qld) and the Subcontractors’ Charges Act 1974 (Qld).
Mitchell’s experience across a broad range of construction matters gives him the requisite knowledge and skill in order to achieve effective outcomes for clients.
