About Tayla

Tayla is an Associate in the Construction & Infrastructure team. She holds a dual Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Environmental Science from Griffith University.

Predominantly focused on front-end work, Tayla provides an analytical approach and strong attention to detail in assisting clients by preparing contract suites, contract reviews, special conditions and contract departures. With an environmental science background, she has a keen interest in areas where construction intersects with planning and environmental law and takes great pride in helping clients in the clean energy and renewables space to deliver exciting and sustainable projects.

Project Highlights

Kangaroo Point Green Bridge

Assisting with all stages of project life including initial review and negotiation of the contract, preparing notices and claims for contract administration and recent advice regarding the revised commercial arrangements with the Principal.

Hospital Capacity Expansion Project

Worked with the commercial and project teams to negotiate and reach agreement on over 40 consultant engagements. Prepared head contract flow down special conditions, rights and obligations summary, suite of template notices, and presented training sessions.

Woodford Youth Detention Centre

Within a four-month period, we negotiated, agreed and executed all consultant contracts for Stage One of design work, including consultant agreement terms, departure tables of comments, populated and compiled final for execution contracts.
