Tyler works in the firm’s Construction and Major Projects team in Sydney, where he acts for a diverse range of clients across both private and government infrastructure projects. Having practised solely in building and construction law, Tyler has extensive experience working with, and simplifying, the complex legislative and contractual frameworks which are the “everyday” for construction contractors. This includes having run numerous high-value adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry of Payment Act 1999, advising clients on their rights under the Contractors Debts Act 1997, and helping clients pursue their claims in court.
While comfortable in a formal dispute setting, Tyler is a big believer that early intervention in any dispute can help avoid the worst outcomes for our clients and preserve their commercial relationships.
